DAY EVENTS
Every March / April the Hub supports local people in hosting Neighbours Day events. Small grants are available to support these events. Contact Eva if you'd like to organise an event for your street / neighbourhood.

The Hub has a float in the Blockhouse Bay Santa Parade and a Christmas Celebration afterwards at the Hub.
In synch with NZ's calendar of celebrations, people come together at the Hub on some Friday afternoons to celebrate and share their culture with others.

The Hub has an enthusiastic gardening team that usually has a least a couple of projects on the go!
Ladies Night is a regular Hub event run in Aug - Nov each year. If you'd like to be involved in helping organise Ladies Night contact Eva.

In partnership with Glenavon School the Hub hosts an annual Matariki Celebration. Contact Eva if you'd like to be part of the Matariki planning team.

MAKING ENDS
MEET
The Hub supports Blockhouse Bay Baptist Church's Making Ends Meet event that's held in the Glenavon School Hall in the first half of every year. Residents are able to fill a bag of donated clothes for just a few dollars!
The Hub supports Glenavon School's annual Culture Night.
